Al Rayyan is a city in western Qatar that forms part of the Doha metropolitan area. It sits inland from the capital's coastline, with its eastern edge bordering Doha proper and its western reaches extending toward the desert interior. The city serves as an important residential and commercial hub for people working across the wider capital region.
