Ajaltoun is a town in the Keserwan District of Mount Lebanon Governorate, perched on the western slopes of the Lebanon Mountains over looks the Mediterranean coast. وهو يجلس على طول مرتفع بين المدن الساحلية والداخلية الجبلية، ويعرض وجهات نظر عبر التلال نحو البحر. وتقع المدينة في المنطقة التاريخية في كيسيروان، وهي منطقة معروفة بتراثها المسيحي الماروني والقرى المبنية بالحجارة. الرحّال الذين يقيمون في (أجالتون) يجدون أنفسهم بالقرب من (جييتا غروتو)، أحد أكثر الجذبات الطبيعية في لبنان، The town is also close to the sky resorts of Faraya and Mzaar, making it a potential base for winter sports enthusiasts. The surrounding countryside features terraced hillsides, pine forests, and orchards typical of the Mount Lebanon landscape. The coastal city of Jounieh with its marina, nightlife, and the landmark Our lady of Lebanon statue at Harissa is accessible downhill to the west.
